Medication Management

Our team of licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.

If medication is part of your treatment plan, your provider will follow up with you regularly to assess your response to medication and make adjustments as needed.

As well as discussing medication options, your provider will also discuss non-medication treatment options that may be recommended, such as therapy or supplements. Lab testing may also be recommended to check for conditions that may be contributing to mental health symptoms.

Therapy Services

Our licensed Counselors and Social Workers offer therapy services for children, adolescents, and adults. Services include counseling for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

If therapy is part of your care at Connection Psychiatry, your counselor will create a treatment plan and goals with you.

The length and frequency of sessions vary and will be discussed during your first visit.

Health & Wellness

We work collaboratively with local service providers and will

partner with you to consider your healthcare needs with a

holistic approach.

Additionally, we are exploring opportunities for wellness

and education services on site at Connection Psychiatry.

GeneSight Testing

The GeneSight Psychotropic test is a genetic test that shows your healthcare provider how your genes may affect medication outcomes.

This testing may identify which mental health medications require adjusted dosing for you, are less likely to  work for you, or have an increased risk for side effects based on your DNA.

GeneSight testing may be beneficial for you if mental health medication has failed to work for you in the past, your current medication is ineffective, or you have experienced unwanted side effects.
