MYRANDA WHITMAN, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Myranda Whitman is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice and Master’s of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in 2021, and her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Illinois State University in 2014. She has been working in mental health since 2014. Myranda has experience working in community mental health and private practice. She also teaches at Illinois State University in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
Myranda sees clients ages 12 and up, with a variety of diagnoses. Her experience includes caring for people with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia, and eating disorders. When working with her clients, Myranda approaches treatment in a holistic manner, utilizing both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions. She invests in her client’s well-being and fosters the client-provider relationship. Myranda takes pride in having a grounded and down-to-earth relationship with her clients.
Myranda was born and raised in Illinois. She loves spending time with her family & friends, reading, doing anything outside, traveling, and listening to music.
